To DIY For is a social-first DIY competition my team and I created for Behr Paint Company running for 3 consecutive Seasons. The show features DIYers from beginners to professional creators competing for the title of BEHR's Ultimate DIYer. The show earned BEHR a Branded Series Bronze at The Shorty Awards, 2023 and a spot on Fast Company’s 2024 Brands That Matter as a heritage brand honoree.
Season 1:
Kicked off BEHR: To DIY For by partnering with a select group of DIY creators to showcase creative paint transformations and launch the series on TikTok.
Season 2:
Opened up the competition to the public, drawing over 200 DIYers from across the U.S. to compete in a nationwide social challenge that celebrated creativity and community.
Season 3:
Elevated the format with a dynamic on-set competition featuring influencer 🤝 emerging creator duos, who faced off in mystery box DIY challenges after being cast through open social auditions.
